In Mill, add your website domain under Settings → Installation → Allowed domains. Download and activate the Mill Chat plugin in WordPress, then paste your public widget key into the Mill Chat settings and enable the widget.
Requires a Mill account, WordPress 6.3 or later and PHP 7.4 or later. WordPress.com sites need a plan that supports plugins. The plugin is available as a ZIP; the WordPress.org listing is awaiting review.

Is this a WordPress plugin?
Yes. Mill Chat adds the Mill widget to your WordPress website and gives you a Mill Chat entry in your WordPress admin menu. Your operators handle conversations in Mill.
Do I need to change my theme?
No theme edits are needed with the plugin. Add your domain in Mill, activate the plugin and save your public widget key. If you already installed the Mill script manually, use one installation method to avoid duplicates.
Can I use Mill on WordPress.com?
Yes, if your WordPress.com plan allows installing plugins. Check your plan’s capabilities before installing.
Can I translate WordPress customer conversations?
Yes. Mill offers optional AI translation on eligible plans, with language detection and a choice of languages. Your team’s shared allowance applies. You can keep the original text visible and turn translation off for any conversation.
