Add your storefront domain to Allowed domains in Mill. Copy your widget snippet from Settings → Installation and add it before the closing body tag in your Shopify theme’s theme.liquid layout. Save and check the published storefront.

Does Mill sync Shopify orders?
This connection adds live chat to your storefront. It does not automatically sync orders, carts or customer records from Shopify.
Will it appear at checkout?
The snippet runs on storefront pages using your theme. Shopify checkout is separate and is not included in this installation.
What happens when I change my theme?
Check that the Mill snippet is included in the new published theme. Keep only one copy of the snippet on each page.
Can I translate Shopify customer conversations?
Yes. Mill offers optional AI translation on eligible plans, with language detection and a choice of languages. Your team’s shared allowance applies. You can keep the original text visible and turn translation off for any conversation.
